Step-by-Step Guide to Apply Online for a New BSES Connection:
1. Visit the Official BSES Website:
- For BSES Rajdhani (BRPL): https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/brpl
- For BSES Yamuna (BYPL): https://www.bsesdelhi.com/web/bypl
2. Navigate to the ‘New Connection’ Section:
- On the home page, look for the “New Connection” or “Apply for New Connection” link, typically found under the “Consumer Services” tab.
3. Fill in the Online Application Form:
- Choose the option to apply online for a new connection.
- Enter the necessary details:
- Applicant’s Personal Details: Name, mobile number, and email address.
- Address for Connection: Fill in the complete address where the new connection is required.
- Load Requirement: Mention the power load you need (in KW). For domestic purposes, this is usually around 1-10 KW depending on the appliances used.
4. Upload Required Documents:
You will need to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- Identity Proof: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Driving License, etc.
- Address Proof: Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Rent Agreement, or Sale Deed.
- Ownership Proof: If you own the premises (Sale Deed, Allotment Letter, Lease Agreement, etc.), or if you are renting (Rent Agreement).
- Passport-sized photograph of the applicant.
5. Make Payment for the Application:
- Pay the connection fee online. You can use net banking, debit cards, or credit cards for the payment.
- After successful payment, you will receive an acknowledgment with a reference number.
6. Site Inspection:
- A BSES representative will visit your premises for a site inspection.
- They will check the wiring, load requirements, and other installation-related factors.
7. Meter Installation:
- Once the site is inspected and approved, the BSES team will install the meter at your premises.
- After installation, your connection will be activated, and you’ll receive electricity at your location.
8. Track Application Status:
- To track your new connection application, go to the “Track Application” section on the BSES website and enter your application/reference number.
